Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed. He is open to letting Jack Grealish leave the club this summer in order to gain more playing time.
Grealish joined Man City from Aston Villa in 2021 for a fee of £100m and helped the team win the treble. However, his role in the last two seasons has been reduced, especially in the last season. Where he played only 20 league matches, scored 1 goal and started only 7 matches. ทางเข้า UFABET
The 29-year-old did not travel with the squad for the 2025 Club World Cup. A clear sign that he is not in Pep Guardiola’s plans.

Pep has confirmed he is ready to let Grealish leave the club. Saying:
“There were discussions between him and the club and we made the best decision. Jack is a great player. The only reason he didn’t play last season was because… it was my decision.”
“And we decided he needed to play. The club was honest with him and so was he. He is very respected and loved by the team.”
“We decided the best thing to do was to give him a rest (not in the World Cup squad). And find a club where he felt he could play and get back to being the player. He was when we won the treble or when he was at Aston Villa.”
“Without him, we probably wouldn’t have won the treble, or at least it would have been much more difficult. But the truth is, in the last two seasons. He hasn’t played much and he needs to get back on the pitch, feel excited again about playing every three days and show the quality he has again.”
Asked if Grealish’s future lies away from City, Pep said: “I don’t know…he will leave if it happens. Now we have decided he won’t come here (to the Club World Cup) and what happens next I don’t know.”
“If in the end we can’t find a new club, he’s still a Manchester City player and he’ll come back…”
